Vegan and healthy edible cookie dough with superfoods - RECIPE

Why put cookie dough in the oven when you can put it in your mouth? 


Especially when it's vegan edible cookie dough, made with simple and natural ingredients, loads with complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and of course proteins. Sugary cookies are seriously like a drug. Once you have this kind of refined sugar, you start craving it, and it's not always the best option for your health. 

 


Today we are replacing all those cookies with this recipe of eggless Vegan Chickpea Cookie Dough with Superfoods.

The best with all of that? This tasty treat is healthy, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and of course, guilt-free.

Now before you get scared about the chickpeas, honestly you don't taste them. The cookie dough definitely isn’t as sweet as a normal one, but you’re not making this to be hit with a “sugar rush.” You’re making an alternative t to satisfy that sweet tooth without all the sugar and calories! Right?


Ingredients for 4 servings:
-1 can chickpeas, drained (liquid reserved) and rinsed
-¼ cup (60 g) peanut butter
-2 tablespoons Maple Syrups
-2 tablespoons vanilla
-½ teaspoon salt
- 1 servings Raw Nutritional maca powder
-¼ cup (60 mL) chickpea water
-½ cup (85 g) vegan chocolate chips

 

Preparation
-Spread drained chickpeas onto a towel and pat dry.
-Remove chickpea shells.
-Place chickpeas, peanut butter, vanilla, maple syrup, maca and salt into food processor.
-Mix halfway then add chickpea water to help consistency.
-Add chocolate chips to the mixed dough.

Enjoy and try not to eat all the recipe at once... Well, you can! It's healthy cookie dough after all!
