This no-bake recipes only requires 6 ingredients, is gluten-free, is healthy, tastes fantastic and is pretty much the best deal when you are craving a sweet, refreshing and chocolaty something to keep you going.
Those bars are made mainly from oats and dates, with Maple-Vanilla Vegan Protein to give them a nice kick plus boost their protein content. There's no nuts, dairy, or soy. The only thing you need is 15 minutes, and you are good to go.
Ingredients (for 12 Bite-size Bars)
1 1/2 scoop Maple Vanilla Vegan Pro
1 cup Oats Flour
3/4 cup Medjool Dates (about 6 dates)
80ml Orange juice (juice of 1 fresh orange)
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup Vegan Chocolate chips
1. Line parchment paper in a small pan or bowl
2. In a food processor, flour your oats if not already done, then add the dates, half of the orange juice, pinch of salt, and blend until well a sticky dough is formed.
3. Melt the chocolate chips with the rest of the orange juice using a microwave or double boiler technique.
4. Press the dough in your pan until well compressed, then pour the melted chocolate on top. Put in the freezer (or refrigerator) until the chocolate is hardened.
*Keeps in the fridge for 5 days or freezer for 1 month.
