Why Go Vegan This Year

As per a trusted source [1], a reduction in meat consumption is necessary to avoid climate breakdown. The continued purchase of meat products by humans also results in countless suffering for animals. Also, eating meat-based products regularly cause adverse effects on human health, as per a health study [2].

To avoid all such mishaps, you should seriously consider adopting a vegan lifestyle or opting for a vegan diet.

Here is a list of some other reasons why you should take a vegan pledge this year:

Why Should Everyone Go Vegan?

Save the Planet

Save Earth

Eating meat is not environmentally friendly. By consuming meat daily, you put your worst efforts in protecting mother nature. Meat production causes an enormous amount of pollution and waste. The entire meat production industry is one of the biggest reasons for rapid climate change.

Grain feed required for meat production also contributes to habitat loss, deforestation, and species extinction. Some farmers across the globe intentionally put fire to clear land for cattle production due to which we lose many plant species and countless animals permanently.

On the other hand, going vegan requires a low amount of crops and water to sustain your diet as well as helps reduce your carbon footprint. It's the best idea to safeguard the planet earth today.

Preventing Animal Suffering

Imagine living your entire life trapped in a tiny cage. You can't turn around, and when you lie down, you rest in your own waste.

Can you ever imagine yourself trapped down in a tiny cage for your entire life? You can't go free, and when you are, you are cut into pieces. This is what meat-eaters indirectly do for animals.

By choosing vegan or plant-based food over the meat, dairy, and eggs, you can save more than 200 animals per year from becoming a part of someone's daily diet.

Stay Healthy & Happy

Stay healthy and happy

Eating animal products regularly also increases the risk of developing various heart diseases, cancer, high blood pressure, and saturated fat in your body, as per numerous research studies [3, 4].

You can easily avoid the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases by eating plant-based food, as per a health study [5]. Staying vegan also helps you avoid forming excess fat in your body and stay fit & healthy.

Please cite sources. Without sources or discussing the drawbacks to veganism this article is quite biased. There is a reason that you never find lifelong vegans nor did any civilization throughout history follow a vegan diet.
