Black Forest–Style Baked Oats
Inspired by the classic Black Forest cake, these chocolate baked oats are rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced for breakfast or snack time. The mix of cocoa, juicy cherries, and Vegan Pro Chocolate creates a soft, indulgent texture. Easy to prep and slice into neat squares, they’re ideal for meal prep. Finish with vanilla plant-based yogurt and toppings for an extra decadent touch.
Ingredients
For the baked oats
- 2½ cups Rolled oats
- 1½ tbsp Ground Flaxseed
- 1 serving (about ⅓ cup) Raw Nutritional Vegan Pro Chocolate
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- A small pinch of Salt
- 2¼ cups Plant-based milk of choice
- ⅓ cup Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2½ tbsp Cocoa powder
- ¾ cup Canned, frozen, or fresh cherries
- ⅓–½ cup Chocolate chips
For topping
- Vanilla plant-based yogurt
- Cherries
- Grated chocolate, optional

Method
1- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2- Add all the baked oats ingredients to an oven-safe baking dish. Mix well.
3- Bake for 30 minutes for a softer, fudgier texture, or 35 minutes for a slightly firmer bake.
4- Let rest for about 10 minutes, then cut into 6 equal squares.
5- Top with vanilla plant-based yogurt, cherries, and grated chocolate before serving.
