These chocolate hazelnut smoothie cubes are the perfect snack for sweet lovers. Easy to make, endlessly customizable, and coated in chocolate, they’re just as convenient as they are delicious, any time of day.

Chocolate Hazelnut Evive-Style Frozen Cubes

Absolutely perfect snack for sweet-bite lovers! My husband and I are completely addicted: as a snack, for dessert, in the evening, with a coffee… basically all the time! And the best part? Once you’ve mastered the concept, the variations are endless: it works with pretty much any smoothie flavor you can imagine! If you try these smoothie bites, let me know if they make you just as hooked as we are!

Ingredients

For the smoothie (the inside of the bites)
- 1 cup Silken tofu
- 1 cup Banana (very ripe and mashed)
- 2 servings Vegan Pro Chocolate Hazelnut flavor
- 1 tbsp Pure Organic Cacao
- 1 tsp Cornstarch (helps prevent the smoothie from crystallizing, making it more enjoyable to eat)

For the chocolate coating (the outside of the bites)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet Chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil

Method

1- Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave (2 × 30 seconds) or using a double boiler until smooth and glossy.

2- Using a brush, coat the bottom of an ice cube tray with the melted chocolate to create a thin shell. Place in the freezer for 5 minutes to set.

3- Spoon the smoothie mixture into each cavity, then cover with the remaining melted chocolate.

4- Return to the freezer for a few hours, until the bites are fully set, then unmold.

5- Store in an airtight container in the freezer.

For the perfect texture when enjoying, let the bites sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
