Coconut Sugar and Pecan Tartlets

Delicious little tartlets for the holidays! We already know that sugar pie is a great classic, but this recipe will quickly replace it. These individual servings are perfect for avoiding waste. They are easily transported and eaten in a few bites.

I love the taste of coconut sugar. I find it rich in flavor, and the texture is ideal. In addition, it blends perfectly with the taste of pecans!

Ingredients (8 tartlets)

1/4 cup Vegetable butter
1/4 cup Vanilla soy milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Pure Organic Coconut Sugar
1 cup Almond flour
3 tbsp Cornstarch
24 Whole pecans
8 Tartlet shells

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 375˚F.

2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, soy milk, vanilla extract and coconut sugar.

3. Add the almond flour and cornstarch and stir with a whisk. Cook over low heat for about 2 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.

4. Place the crusts on a baking sheet and divide the mixture into each crust. Place 3 pecans on each tart. Bake for 15 minutes in the oven.
