Creamy Spirulina Popsicles
There are many benefits to spirulina, but it’s not always easy to find original and fun recipes to consume it with. Having the powder directly in your smoothie is generally what's the fastest. However, discovering new ways of using your superfoods is always handy.
This popsicle's recipe comes perfectly with summer and the hot weather we have right now! In addition to being delicious and refreshing, it is perfect for consuming a good dose of spirulina without really having the impression of eating it!
Its beautiful forest green color really makes you want to eat it and I am convinced that even children will want it! It's a win-win for the whole family.
Method
1. Soak the dates in boiling water for 5 minutes.
2. In a blender, place all the ingredients including the dates and mix until smooth and creamy.
3. Pour the green mixture into 4 popsicle moulds and put in the freezer for at least 4 hours. (To obtain 2 layers, pour the green mixture first and then pour some coconut milk once the first layer is frozen. Freeze again.)
