Express “Cheesy” Crackers (Dairy-Free)
I’m so happy about the new Vegan Pro flavor! A neutral flavor makes it easy to add plant-based protein to so many recipes, both sweet and savory—like this one.
To describe the taste of these delicious crackers, I’ll quote my partner: “It tastes like a mix between Doritos and Tostitos.”
Ingredients (16 crackers)
- 2 Tortillas, about 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter, cut into 8 triangles
- 2 tbsp Canola oil
- 2 tsp Maple syrup
Seasoning
- 1 serving Pea Protein 100% Plain - RAW Nutritional
- 3 tbsp Nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp Salt

Method
1- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2- In a small bowl, mix the oil and maple syrup.
3- In another bowl, combine all the seasoning ingredients.
4- Using a brush, coat both sides of the tortilla triangles with the oil mixture. Then toss them in the seasoning until well coated on both sides.
5- Bake for 10 minutes, flip, then bake for another 5 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool completely.
