Ingredients (9-12 servings)

Dry
1 ½ - 2 cups All-purpose flour
½ cup Vegan Pro - Maple Vanilla
½ cup Pure Organic Cacao Powder
¾ cup Brown sugar
1 ½ tsp Baking soda
½ tsp Salt
1 cup Vegan semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Wet
2 ½ cups Pumpkin puree
½ cup Vegetable oil
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tsp Vanilla extract

For topping
1 cup Vegan semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp Vegetable shortening (Crisco)

Method
  1. Sift together all of your dry ingredients (minus the semi-sweet chocolate chunks) into a large bowl and mix together.
  2. Next, add the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix all of the ingredients together using a spoon until well combined. The batter will be thick. Lastly, fold in the 1 cup of chocolate chunks.
  3. Pour your batter into a sprayed 9x13 glass pan. Bake at 350 °C for approximately 25 mins.
  4. When brownies are cooled, melt the chocolate chips and Crisco and pour over the brownies in the pan.
  5. Cut the brownies into 9 or 12 pieces. Enjoy!
