Fun and Tasty Colorful Waffles

Easter is coming soon! It's time to explore our creativity and create delicious, colourful sweets. Easter colours are usually purple, yellow, green and pastel blue. For this reason, I decided to create COLORFUL waffles! Easter is usually celebrated with a good brunch. So I found this recipe perfect for the occasion. In addition, it's maple syrup season, and nothing is better than maple syrup on good waffles.

Waffle recipes usually need eggs. Thanks to the Vegan Pro, there is no need for eggs! The waffles hold together wonderfully in addition to having vegan protein.

Ingredients (3 waffles)
1/4 cup Canola oil
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1 cup Plant-based milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
3 tbsp Vegan Pro – Cookie n' cream
1 cup Unbleached all-purpose flour
2 tbsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Baking powder
1/8 tsp Salt
Food colouring

Method
1. Preheat the waffle maker.

2. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend for a few seconds.

3. Separate the dough into 3 containers and add the colours of your choice. Pour one dough into the waffle maker and cook for about 5 minutes (depending on the waffle maker used). Repeat this step with the other 2 doughs.

4. Serve with toppings of your choice (vegan whipped cream, berries, maple syrup, decorative candies, etc.).
