Healthy Vegan French Toast

Call all of your friends because this recipe will be perfect for your next brunch! You can be so creative with all the topping possibilities. And a little bit of health as never hurt anyone, right?


Ingredients (8 slices)
1 cup Oat milk
1 Ripe banana 
2 tbsp Organic Ground Flaxseeds
1 tsp Vanilla 
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
8 Thick slices of bread 
Coconut oil, to fry


Method :

1. Mash the banana in a shallow bowl, add the rest of the ingredients, except the coconut oil and bread, and mix until well combined.

2. Cut your bread into thick slices, then dip each piece into the batter for about 20 seconds on each side.

3. Add coconut oil to a frying pan and place your bread slices on top to cook. Flip once the underside is golden brown, and cook until the other side is golden brown as well.

4. Top with desired toppings; I went with plant-based vanilla yogurt, cinnamon, berries, and organic maple syrup.
