Homemade Protein Ferrero
The best of both worlds: a great post-workout snack to help your muscle recovery AND a perfect little sweet treat to enjoy!
Ingredients (12 servings)
Dry ingredients
½ cup Almond flour
¼ cup Oatmeal
¼ cup Vegan Pro - Chocolate
2 tbsp Pure Organic Cacao
Wet ingredients
¼ cup Maple syrup
50g Dark chocolate
2 tbsp Almond plant drink
Coating
50g Dark chocolate
1 tbsp Coconut oil
½ cup Hazelnuts
12 whole Hazelnuts
Method :
1. In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
2. In a small bowl, melt the 50g of dark chocolate from the wet ingredients.
3. In the bowl of dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients. Mix together.
4. Using your hands, with the mixture obtained, form 12 small balls. In the center of each of them, add a hazelnut.
5. Chop the hazelnuts to obtain tiny pieces and a light powder—place in a small bowl. *Use a small coffee grinder for best results.
6. In a small bowl, melt the 50 g of dark chocolate from the coating with the coconut oil.
7. Dip the balls in the melted dark chocolate, then in the crumbled hazelnuts.
8. Place in the refrigerator to set the chocolate with the hazelnuts.
Store in the refrigerator and take out a few minutes before consumption.
