No Bake Chocolate Protein Bars

There are days when you are not bothered to heat the oven to cook your snacks. This No Bake Chocolate Protein Bars recipe is perfect for one of these days. And you can double the recipe and freeze half for next time!

No Bake Chocolate Protein Bars

We never have enough of quick and nutritious snacks, right?! This recipe if perfect for your meal prep! 

 

Ingredients (12 bars)

1 cup Almond butter
¼ cup Maple syrup 
2 tbsp Almond flour 
½ tbsp Vanilla extract
3 tsp Coconut oil 
¼ tsp Salt 
1 cup Chocolate chips 


Method : 

1. Combine all the ingredients, minus the chocolate chips and coconut oil, together in a bowl. Mix with your hands until it becomes like a dough consistency. 

2. Line a small baking dish with parchment paper and press the dough until it is evenly spread across the bottom of the dish.

3. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together, then pour it over the dough until it creates an even layer. 
4. Place the dish in the freezer to chill for 25-30 minutes or until the chocolate sets. 

5. Once the chocolate has hardened, remove it from the freezer and cut it into bars. 

6. Add sea salt on top (optional), and enjoy!

 

Notes:
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week
