Oreo Cookies Granola

I am a big lover of granola. I can eat it with a little plant-based milk (like cereal), in a smoothie bowl, with yogurt or just like that! I love crunchy and tasty snacks.

The idea of making granola with the Vegan Pro had been in my head for quite some time. When I thought about how to do it, I looked at my Cookies & Cream-flavored Vegan Pro bag and knew right away that it was the perfect combination.

A simple and original granola that will make your mornings a little more delicious!

Ingredients (8 to 10 servings)

3 tbsp Canola oil
3 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tbsp Vanilla extract
1 tbsp Cornstarch
2 tbsp Water
2 cups Oatmeal
1 cup Wheat germ
1 1/2 scoop Vegan Pro - Cookies & Cream
1/2 cup Sunflower seeds
1 tbsp Pure Organic Cacao
Pinch of salt
16 Oreo cookies

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 300 ºF.

2. In a large bowl, combine canola oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cornstarch and water. Reserve.

3. In another bowl, combine the oatmeal, wheat germ, Vegan Pro, sunflower seeds, cacao powder and salt.

4. Add the dry ingredients to the liquid preparation. Mix.

5. Spread out on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes in the oven, stirring every 10 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, roughly chop 10 Oreo cookies. Finely grind the 6 remaining cookies. Reserve.

7. Remove the granola from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes on the baking sheet.

8. In a bowl, mix the granola with the chopped and crushed cookies. Store in an airtight container.
