Vegan Protein French Toast

What a wonderful breakfast idea! Dipped in our maple vanilla plant-based drink, your multigrain bread will become tasteful and even more nutritious. Spread a few maple flakes, raspberries and peanut coulis for a flavours addition.

Vegan Protein French Toast

The recipe that will make your Sunday mornings more than perfect. A nutritious, flavorful and slightly sweet French toast. You can easily double the recipe if you want to impress your better half. Have a good food tasting!

Ingredients (1 serving)

2 slices Multigrain bread
1/3 cup Unsweetened plant-based drink
2 tsp Vegan Pro - Maple Vanilla
1 tbsp Vegetable butter (for cooking)

Peanut butter coulis
1 tbsp 100% Natural peanut butter
½ tsp Maple syrup
1 tbsp Water (or more depending on the desired texture)

Toppings
Raspberries
Maple flakes

Method

1. In a small bowl, put all the ingredients for the peanut butter coulis and mix with a whisk until you get a smooth texture. Reserve.

2. In a closeable jar, pour the plant-based drink and the Maple Vanilla Vegan Pro. Close the jar. Shake until the protein powder is completely dissolved.

3. Pour the obtained mixture into a large bowl.

4. Heat a pan over medium heat, then add the vegetable butter.

5. When the pan is hot and the butter has melted, place your slices of bread in the mixture so that they are fully soaked and then put them in the pan.

6. Still over medium heat, cook the slices of bread for about 3 minutes per side or until golden brown.

7. Serve with the coulis and the proposed toppings if desired.
