Vegan Black Forest Mousse

The smooth, chocolatey texture pairs perfectly with tangy yogurt, fresh cherries, and a sprinkle of grated chocolate for the ultimate treat.

Vegan Black Forest Mousse

You are in for a treat! Keeping this mousse classic with a slightly healthy twist, thanks to the addition of avocados and our Vegan Pro. 

Ingredients (2 big or 3-4 small portions)

1 cup Frozen cubed avocados – see note
1 cup Frozen cherries – see note
1 serving Vegan Pro - Chocolate 
1 tablespoon Pure Cacao
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon to ¼ cup Plant-based milk (your favourite)

Toppings
1 cup Plant-based yogurt
Optional: fresh cherries and grated chocolate



Method :

1- Let avocados and cherries sit for 15-20 minutes to thaw slightly.

2- In a blender, add all ingredients except plant-based milk. The goal is to get a pudding-like consistency rather than a smoothie. Then add the plant-based milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. You will probably have to stop the blender, scrape down the sides, and start over a few times to combine the ingredients thoroughly.

3- To assemble, pour the Black Forest mixture into glasses or bowls, then garnish with the yogurt, cherries, and grated chocolate.
