Upgrade your smoothie bowls with this delicious recipe made from chocolate, peanuts and caramel flavors. Add some energy balls too, and create a fulfilling breakfast.

Snickers Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is, let's face it, pretty much the best I've made by far, especially if you like the flavors of caramel, chocolate, and peanut butter (just like me!).

It's the pinnacle of happiness at breakfast. Let's say I would call this a "brunch" smoothie bowl because it is so filling! The base is made of frozen bananas with the addition of the butterscotch protein powder. It really allows us to rediscover the taste of caramel ice cream, and it's to kill for! Definitely! I challenge you to resist it... IMPOSSIBLE!

Ingredients (One bowl)

Smoothie bowl
2 Medium ripe bananas, frozen
1 scoop Vegan Pro - Butterscotch
1 tbsp Organic Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Natural peanut butter
1/4 cup Plant-based milk
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
A pinch of cinnamon

Chocolate energy balls
1/2 cup Quick-cooking oatmeal
1 tbsp Pure Organic Cacao
1/4 cup Dates, chopped
1/4 cup Water
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tbsp Dark chocolate chips

Garnish
Chocolate energy balls
Natural peanut butter
Peanuts
Hemp seeds
Chia seeds

Method

1. For the energy balls: Pour the oatmeal and cacao powder into the food processor and finely chop.

2. Soften your chopped dates in the microwave for 1 minute 15 in 1/4 cup of water. Drain.

3. Then add to the oatmeal with the vanilla extract and dark chocolate chips. Pulse until the dough comes together. Then form about ten mini energy balls. Reserve.

4. For the smoothie base: Add all the ingredients for the smoothie in the blender, then run until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.

5. Pour into a bowl, then garnish as wanted. Serve immediately.
