It is well known that having a varied diet and incorporating several fruits and vegetables is always a good idea! This has several benefits for health, but also our taste buds. Eating fruits and veggies in all their forms can be fun.

In this article, I share my 6 tips for incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet! I didn't consume a lot of them for a considerable period of my life because I didn't know how to cook them well. I finally learned to prepare them in a way that I love and now enjoy plenty of them every day!

1. Smoothies

Incorporating frozen fruits and vegetables into your smoothies not only adds flavour but also gives a nice texture. I invite you to read this article to help you create a delicious smoothie.

2. Fruits for breakfast

I love to eat fruits with my breakfast. It can be a bowl of various fruits or even integrate them into your lunch (like banana slices on your toast, strawberries in your yogurt or blueberries in your cereal)!

3. Snacks

When I worked outside the house, I always brought myself an apple and a big container with lots of raw vegetables (cucumber, celery, carrots, bell peppers, etc.) to snack on during my working hours! You can also bring yourself a dip or hummus to enjoy your veggies.

4. Meals

When I cook a meal, I always try to think of which vegetables I want to go with it. Sometimes, the vegetables are already there (like in a big salad or a vegetable stir-fry), but other times, I have fun roasting them in the oven to accompany my shepherd's pie, for example.

5. Soups

It's almost winter, and it's time for soups! Creating delicious soups with lots of good vegetables (especially squash, carrots, leeks and potatoes) means that you always have good, comforting meals on hand.
