Stepping out of my culinary comfort zone led me to discover a delightful recipe that I'm excited to share – homemade flaxseed and chia crackers. These crunchy, flavorful crackers have become a personal favorite, perfect for snacking on their own or pairing with vegan cream cheese, your favorite cheese, or hummus.

Flaxseed and Chia Crackers

Creating this recipe was a big step out of my comfort zone, but in the end, I'm super happy with the result. Crunchy and tasty crackers, just the way I like them. Personally, I eat them just like that (that's how good they are) or with vegan cream cheese. Alternatively, they can be spread with your favourite cheese or hummus!

Ingredients (16 crackers)

1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp Hemp seeds
2 tbsp Nutritional yeast
2 tbsp Wheat flour
2 tsp Dried basil
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Water
1 tsp Maple syrup

Method :

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the water and maple syrup.

3. In a bowl, mix the water and maple syrup. Gradually add to the mixture, mixing continuously using a spatula.

4. Spread the mixture evenly on the plate. Keep a thickness of 5mm. Bake for 15 minutes in the oven. Remove from the oven and cut into 15 squares. Continue cooking for 5 minutes. Flip the squares and cook for a final 5 minutes. Let cool completely on a baking rack.

Bonjour, est-il possible de remplacer la farine de blé par un autre type de farine, sans gluten ? Merci par avance.
